Each year the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center serves more than 3,000 homeless shelter pets and helps keep thousands more owned pets healthy, happy, and in their homes. Many of the animals that we serve are sick or injured and, with your help, we are proud to offer top-notch veterinary care to each and every animal that walks through our doors. We are an open-door shelter and never turn an animal in need away. We do encourage responsible pet ownership and we often work with individuals to find ways to help them keep their pets instead of surrender. We offer very affordable spay/neuter and other essential medical care to the public. We have a community outreach effort that works in our most vulnerable neighborhoods to battle pet-overpopulation and pet abandonment and our Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return Community Cat program has saved thousands of cats and helps to keep our island’s feral cat problems in check. Please feel free to reach out to us at the numbers below for more information about our community programs and services.
