Join us on October 11th, 2023 at 6pm at Caribbean Cinemas, St. Croix for a Community Animal Welfare presentation hosted by Maddie's Million Pet Challenge and the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center. Anyone interested in helping pets and people are welcome and encouraged to attend and learn about national animal services and sheltering trends and best practices. The presentation will also be live streamed on The St Croix Animal Welfare Center's Facebook Page.
Come celebrate BarktoberFest with the St Croix Animal Welfare Center. Every available SCAWC dog will be brought to Leatherback Brewing Company for an adoption extravaganza, in hopes to finding all of them FURever homes. BARKtober Fest is also a vendor event and music festival that will celebrate the happy outcomes of island pets. Entertainment includes: Toasty featuring ISB, DJ Chubby, Supa Tracks, Miss St. Croix and more. They will all be bringing the community out to support the homeless animals of St Croix! There will be trick-or-treating for the children, and a doggie costume parade, a raffle with great prizes and more! We will also be showcasing the plans for our new facility in Castle Coakley.
